한성대학교에서는 제2회 ‘외국인 한국어 뽐내기 대회’를 개최하고자 합니다. 다문화 사회로의 진입에 발맞추어 외국인들과 함께 ‘한국’에 대한 다양한 시각을 나누고 경험할 수 있는 특별한 기회를 마련하고자 하였습니다. 국적, 연령, 직업에 관계없이 전국의 모든 외국인이 참여하여 경연을 벌이는 흥미로운 자리오니 관심있는 학생들의 관심과 참여 바랍니다.

The Second Korean Language Speech Competition

It has been never like this before, the winner takes it all!

？ Topic

   Interesting and surprising life in Korea

   Personal experience with Korean culture 

 ？ Entry Criteria

   This competition is opened to any foreigner who lives in Korea legally

(except for the person who possess Korean nationality)

There is no age limit on this competition

？ Composition of the team

   The team should consist of 2 to 5 people 

Any foreigner may become a team without distinction of nationality

 ？ Criteria for Judging

The content may be written freely

The Duration is approximately 8 minutes

All the participants in a team should be involved in speaking

( if not, it will not be taken into consideration)

？ Prizes

*Finalists will receive a complimentary gift

-  Registration period : 29. April, 2013 (Mon) ~ 3. May, 2013 (Fri)

   * Successful participants will be announced on 13^th May (Mon)[3:00pm]

     via the main homepage of the school. ？ 10 TEAMS WILL BE SELECTED

-  Final Round: 22. May. 2013 (Wed) (13:00~) at Naksan sauditorium(낙산관),   

   Hansung University

？ Required documents

-  Completed application form (downloadable on the main page)

-  3x4cm photo of every participant in a team (affixed to the application form)

-  Photocopy of certificate of alien registration (alien registration card, ARC) of   every member in a team (Passport will be possible if you don’t have ARC)  

-  The format of written speech will be in hwp, ppt, doc.

-  Video speech for Preliminaries :

？  The video should take no more than 8 minutes. 

？  The preliminaries will be held via video speech only. 

？  The participants should film whole part of their speech via video       which shows their level of Korean proficiency (there would be a disadvantage if the participants show only a part of their speech).

？  There will be no editing in your video speech (editing skills will be strictly observed for a fair screening)  

  The size of video file should not be above 50MB, the format of the video  

   will be either avi or wma
